SUBOXONE ? How long after taking an opioid can you begin taking it?

I want to get off of the opoid that I have been taking for pain from a accident. I don’t want to have severe withdrawls from taking the SUBOXONE too soon after taking the opioid. So how long do I have to wait before I can take the SUBOXONE?

Also has anyone taken it and what was the time period and success rate you had with it?

Are you doing this without a healthcare provider? The one who is writing the prescriptions should give you these directions.

8 hours. I did it to get off heroin. If you cant wait then 6 and a half. Ya it will have the reverse affect if you take it too soon after taking the opiate.
