I was divorced and did not see my kids for 4 years.
When I saw them again it was as if I had not left at all.
This does not mean you don’t worry how they will react to you.

Don’t be scared. You must do this. Just promise yourself and your family you will remain in detox state. You have so much responsibility now. Your child didn’t ask to be brought into this world so please make his life as innocent as you can for as long as you can. You have a higher calling now. Rise to the occasion. Good luck. Your baby will be so happy to see you!

6 days away versus a lifetime if you don’t get help, hmmmm. Your baby will be fine. It’s not silly, it’s called being a mom and loving your child. Go, and come back knowing you did what you had to do for yourself and your child. Good Luck and God Bless.
